Affiliate FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is an affiliate?   top

Affiliates are marketing partners that help promote a service or product via their blogs, websites, newsletters, emails or other online communication. Affiliates typically place links or banners on their website or blog to send visitors to the advertiser’s website. The advertiser then pays for each referred client, based on specific criteria.

What is vFlyer's Affiliate Program?   top

vFlyer's Affiliate Program is a way to reward our affiliates for promoting our vMarketing and vSites services. If you become an affiliate, we will give you a 30% commission every time you refer a customer who purchases one of our services.

Who can be a vFlyer affiliate?   top

Anyone with a website or a blog that is at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen can apply to our Affiliate Program. There is no cost to become an affiliate.

Does my blog or website content have to be related to vFlyer's services?   top

No. But websites will be rejected if they promote violence, discriminate in any way, or contain other content we deem inappropriate.

Can I still be an affiliate if I'm not tech-savvy?   top

Of course! Our affiliate program is designed for anyone who can cut and paste HTML code into a website or blog. We provide the HTML codes for you to make it as easy as possible.

What vFlyer services can affiliates promote?   top

We will pay a commission on any of our vSites or vMarketing paid subscriptions (monthly or annual). We will also pay for any bundled packages of the two services. Commission is not paid on domain name reservations.

I already have a vMarketing and/or vSites account. Do I have to create a new one?   top

Nope. If you are applying to become an affiliate, just click the link that says "Log in to apply" at the bottom of the page. Your earnings will be tracked directly through your account.

I'm thinking about becoming a vFlyer affiliate, but I want to try the product first. Can I use my affiliate code to receive a discount on the product?   top

No. We offer free trials of both of our services to make it as simple as possible for our affiliates to get familiar with our products. Using your own affiliate code to purchase any of our vFlyer products for personal use will be a violation of our affiliate agreement.

What are the differences between your packages?   top

Good question. We offer lots of different package options, as well as bundled packages. Please review the pricing page in order to fully understand all of the subscription options.

What is Affiliate Central?   top

Affiliate Central is where you can track referrals and earnings, get affiliate banners for your website, and manage your affiliate account. You can access it by logging into your account and clicking the "Affiliate" link at the bottom of the page.

Can I use the same affiliate code for my multiple websites/blogs?   top

Yep. Your Affiliate Central account will track the total amount of money you have earned from the multiple places you promote our services.

How do I put the links on my website?   top

Once you are in Affiliate Central, click on the link that says "Banners & Links." Here you have the ability to select vSites or vMarketing links from the drop down menu. Once you have chosen the banner you would like to display on your site, all you have to do is highlight and copy the HTML code in the box below your chosen banner, and then paste the HTML into your web page’s HTML.

I've never been an affiliate before. Do you offer any training or tips on how to make the most out of the Affiliate Program?   top

We sure do! We will host training webinars for current and potential affiliates. Check back later for webinar dates.

How do I sign up?   top

Just take 5 minutes to apply through this link and we will review your application within 48 hours. If accepted, you will then have access to Affiliate Central and you can start promoting vFlyer right away!

I want to create content for my clients using your platform. Is the Affiliate Program what I’m looking for?   top

It sounds like the Reseller Program may be more appropriate for you.

Commission

How much do affiliates earn?   top

We pay 30% commission on the first year of paid subscriptions that are generated from the traffic from your website, blog and newsletters. These payouts are the largest in the industry. Check out our affiliates page for more detailed information.

How do affiliates get paid?   top

Once an affiliate has an account balance of $50 or more, a check will be sent at the end of the month.

How are sales tracked?    top

Once you receive access to Affiliate Central, you will have a unique link that will be used to track all of your visitors clicks on our banners or links. These clicks will store a 60-day cookie in the visitor’s browser. If the visitor returns to our site and purchases a subscription within 60 days of the initial visit, you will receive commission on that sale.

Okay... but what's a cookie?   top

It's basically a string of text that a website stores in your browser. For the purposes of our Affiliate Program, a cookie provides the link from the affiliate's website, to our website. The cookie is what allows the affiliate to get paid for up to 60 days after someone first clicks the vFlyer advertisement on your page, once they purchase a subscription.

What happens if a customer returns or cancels their vFlyer subscription?   top

Your Affiliate Central account will be debited for any commission earned on the transaction. This will occur if a subscription is refunded during vFlyer's 30-day guarantee, or a credit chargeback occurs at any time during the pay period you received commission on.

This sounds too good to be true.. is there a catch?   top

Nope! We personally process all orders, and strive to provide stellar customer service to all of our clients. All you have to do is post the links, and spread the word about our services; we are happy to pay you the highest payouts in the industry for doing so.
